International Day for Disaster Reduction 2018
Dear friends, The Global Geoparks Network participate to the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction - 13th of October 2018, with a variety of events. https://en.unesco.org/commemorations/disaster-reduction
The GGN Geohazard working group together with UNESCO will be happy to promote your Geopark activity at a dedicated webpage. Here are three simple steps to be included in the list of active DRR Geopark champions:
- before event: provide information about the event (template attached) before 12 October
- during event: take photos and share by social media channels. This year official hashtags are ;#IDDR2018 #ResilienceForAll
- after events: share photos and more detailed information to be published
