Digital Course on UNESCO Global Geoparks 2022 UNESCO Global Geoparks and Geotourism
UNESCO and the Global Geoparks Network are co-organising the third distance learning Digital Course on UNESCO Global Geoparks 2022 which will deal with the topic “UNESCO Global Geoparks and Geotourism”.
The Digital Course on UNESCO Global Geoparks will be held from 15th to 25th of November, 2022, daily 11:00 to 15:00 GMT!
The Course is hosted by the University of the Aegean and Lesvos Island UNESCO Global Geopark, Greece. In the time of the COVID-19 outbreak and the severe travel restrictions, the course will be organised digitally for a third year.
If you are interested in participating please submit an application form accompanied by a short CV and an abstract (one page) of your country’s geoparks project or your research project on Geotourism. During the course participants will be invited to present their geopark’s project or their research project.
